NaNoWriMo is a fantastic site. I relate NaNo to the marathon of the ten digits, and if anyone feels like increasing November's busy rate by a bit, I suggest you give it a go. It works as a stellar combination to 'No Shave' November.'
Writer's Beat, along with another site, Writing Forums, were the developmental catalysts for my progress as a writer. I would spend hours, daily, on these forums throughout the early years of high school and the latter stages of middle school. I would edit, read other writings, and post my own creative works. It's an awesome place to learn and grow as a writer.
